A great chapter design starts with a clear brief. Use this checklist before you request pricing so your team can plan the artwork, garment and delivery together.
1. Start with the date you need it in hand.
Your in-hand date may be earlier than the event itself. Allow time to sort sizes and distribute orders, and tell your representative where the package should arrive and who will receive it. Confirm the production schedule before announcing a pickup date; timing depends on the garment, artwork and approvals.
2. Define your quantity and budget.
Decide whether the chapter is paying or members are ordering individually, and whether the piece is optional or required. Share an estimated quantity and target budget per person. Garment choice, decoration and order size affect pricing. Ask your representative to confirm minimum quantities, shipping and any additional charges with the quote.
3. Choose a focused design direction.
Pick two or three references from your sorority’s gallery. Explain what you like about each one: the lettering, illustration, colors or placement. Include the exact sorority and chapter wording, event name and year. A clear direction makes revisions easier than a large collection of unrelated references.
4. Collect sizes and approve one final version.
Use the size chart for the actual garment you choose, set one collection deadline and check that the size totals match the order quantity. Review spelling, Greek letters, dates, ink colors and print placement before approval. Confirm any organization or campus approval requirements with your representative.
5. Send a complete request.
Bring your references into the Design Studio and submit your details for pricing. A design or pricing request begins the conversation; it does not place an order. Your representative can help confirm the garment, final artwork, quantities and schedule.
